The charge allowance proposed in the Revised Code for

Heads of Schools is at the rate of $150 per month for

schools of less than 800 pupils and $200 for the

remainder, (£112.10.0. per annum and £150.0.0. per

annum respectively.) The Governor estimates the present

increased expenditure caused by

cost of these allowances as £447 per annum for charge

allowances and £417 per annum for overseas allowances

rising to a maximum of £537 and £527 respectively, as teachers reach the maxima of their salaries.
